Our Team
Tamboly
Tamboly is a dedicated and influential member of Berlin’s Cuban salsa community. Over the past years, he has played a meaningful role in shaping the local scene — not only through organising events, but also by introducing dancers to the newest wave of Cuban music and artists. His focus on musical quality and cultural authenticity has helped broaden the local understanding of modern Cuban sound, while still honouring its roots.
Although Fiesta Elegante is a passion project, Tamboly brings real experience to it. Long before this festival, he had already organised various metal concerts, parties and cultural events — learning from both the successes and challenges along the way. These experiences have become a valuable foundation in building a festival that is quickly gaining respect and visibility among Cuban dancers across Europe.
Professionally, Armand works as a creative director and award-winning photographer. His artistic background influences the festival’s visual identity and atmosphere — from branding and communication to stage aesthetics and storytelling. With a strong commitment to quality, collaboration and community building, he continues to invest time and heart into ensuring that Fiesta Elegante becomes a welcoming home for Cuban dance and music lovers from around the world.
Odin
is a Cuban dancer and instructor who taught in Havana before moving to Berlin in 2019. The festival’s description notes that he spends much of his time training at the gym, emphasising discipline. Like Tamboly, he co‑manages the Berlin Salsa Community and takes charge of the festival’s logistics and artist liaison; Tamboly focuses on venue, finances, relation, logistics and marketing. Together, they make all the key decisions on artists and programming, complementing each other’s strengths.
